The New Evangelization
Since Redemptoris Missio, Pope John Paul II has used
the emblematic theme of new evangelization as a key element
of his spiritual teaching. In his lecture, Rev. Paul Philibert,
OP, Prior of the Dominican house of studies at St. Louis
University, speaks of its various dimensions: re-evangelization,
evangelization of culture, and evangelization through the
effective forces of the Christian life of individuals within
their natural contexts. This lecture was originally released
on November 18, 2000 as part of a STEP videoconference series.
